Sense of space
To create the illusion of space in this narrow bathroom, the bathroom was done away with and replaced with a wet room shielded by frameless glass. The rich, chocolate-coloured tiles play up the drama of the room and wrap up one wall to make the space feel taller.
Bathroom furnishings
The focal point is a slender waterplane basin and asymmetrically positioned cabinet in glossy white polyurethane, wall-hung to allow the eye to travel along the floor, giving a greater sense of space. The slimline fixtures are replicated in a ‘Ellisse’ by Parisi wall-faced toilet suite and
a pair of ultra-thin display shelves in Glacier White Corian, positioned on either side of the frameless glass shower screen.
Storage
More clever storage is delivered courtesy of the ‘Hung Lift’ recessed wall cabinet with integrated LED lighting and the ‘800’ single drawer unit, also from Minosa.
Lighting
The LEDs fitted under the wall-mounted cupboards deliver atmospheric lighting at night.
