If you’re literally Keeping Up with the Kardashians you’ll know that eldest sis Kourtney lives a pretty meticulous lifestyle abstaining from gluten, dairy and refined sugar and keeping a tight leash on toxins around the home.
The mum-of-three has shared another example of her epic organisation skills with a new post on her app.
In the blog, Kourtney says that her pantry rivals that of her “Khlo-C-D” sister (problematic terminology, much).
“I hate clutter, and small spaces like pantries tend to get disorganised quickly,” she writes.
Kourtney says she’s kept the design of the pantry open so you can see everything on the shelves while snooping for a snack, but keeps some deep drawers to store things that aren’t being used on the daily.
“I like to store food in glass or stainless steel and I try to avoid having plastic in the house,” she wrote. “When we get new cereal, rice, grains, sugar or flour, I recycle the original packaging and transfer everything into glass jars. This way, everything looks really organised and uncluttered. I also put stickers on the bottom with the expiration date, so we know everything is still fresh.”
Her hack for keeping track of different products is pretty genius.
“I like to keep items that come in bags and loose packaging in structured woven baskets. Each basket is organised into sections like baking supplies, snacks for kids, spices, tea, etc. I hang little tags on each bin so they look nice but it’s still easy to find what we’re looking for. This method can be used for open shelves in your closet or office too.”
