We’re not going to pretend we care about Zac’s family house from The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives for its architectural merits. Let’s be honest, we’re just as hooked on the reality series as everyone else, and thrilled to see that Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
If you haven’t tuned in yet, the show follows a group of Mormon mum TikTok influencers knwon as “MomTok”. They live in Utah in fabulous houses – and one of those homes is (possibly) for sale. Or is it? We’ll get to the listing details in a second – along with some questionable interior design choices.
To recap: Season 1 kicked off with explosive drama around a group of friends allegedly “soft swinging”, revealed by Taylor Frankie Paul, who is one of the mums with 5.1 million followers. Fellow TikTok star Whitney Leavitt, with 2.3 million followers, is also in the circle.
The rest of the cast is made up of their ‘Mormon wife’ friends, each with varying degrees of social media fame – or infamy.

Most of the women in the group share the same signature look – long, wavy hair and a jumbo ‘soda’ cup always within reach. Traditional Mormon beliefs discourage caffeine and alcohol, which only adds to the fascination.
That’s part of why Zac’s family home became an unexpected breakout star after Season 1.
Enter, the Affleck family’s mega mansion with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a sprawling backyard that looks up to the mountains in Holladay, Utah.

You see, Zac Affleck is the husband of ‘Mormon wife’ Jen Affleck – yes, they’re related to Ben Affleck (Zac is his second cousin). Anyway, during Season 1 Jen invites her MomTok friends and their husbands to Zac’s family’s house for a celebration. At said celebration, some follow the Mormon rule of not drinking alcohol – while others don’t.
There’s one scene where they’re all in the hot tub in Zac’s family home’s backyard and a flask of alcohol is brought out. A divide ensues between those who drink and those who don’t, and it plays out over the rest of the first season.
In addition to his family’s home being the scene of the crime, Zac hasn’t exactly had a great reception by viewers of the debut season. He’s had unsolicited opinions directed at him and his family ever since. Is this what made Zac’s parents put their house up for sale at the end of 2024? Who knows.
What we do know is that interest in the house, which was listed for $US3.8 million, was so intense it was posted on Reddit and spread on TikTok, before being wiped from the internet. It’s unclear if it sold or it’s still available, but it’s now listed as off market.

Some images are still circling online, including shots of the infamous backyard with the ‘sober hot tub’. TikToker @downbadcryingonline also did some detective work and posted a photo carousel including what appears to be Zac’s childhood bedroom with a framed photo of him hanging above the bed. There have been plenty of people weighing in on this interior design choice.

We’re not sure if all the interest worked in their favour or not with the house listing, but we wish them luck with Season 2, out now.
In the meantime, if you haven’t watched The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives yet, this is your cue to head to Disney+ to catch up on all the drama.
