The weather is finally starting to cool down and with a few long weekends coming up, we’re starting to dream about our next cosy escape into the great outdoors. While ordinary camping has its charms, glamping’s promise of a real bed, luxury linens, outdoor baths and coffee makers truly provide us with the best of both worlds. Plus, there’s a whole lot less putting together of tents and a whole lot more relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine to be had.
If glamping is also your choice of outdoor holiday then keep reading for our favourite glamping sites to book in New South Wales this autumn.

Paperbark Camp, Jervis Bay
Just two and a half hours away from Sydney, the idyllic Paperbark Camp is one of the state’s most beloved glamping sites. Set in a tranquil bushland setting, the deluxe safari tents come with king beds, open-air ensuites with freestanding baths, generous verandahs and the hotel-level luxury linen, bathrobes and candles. There’s an onsite restaurant where guests can enjoy meals among the treetops, and access a fast Wi-Fi connection.
While there, you won’t run out of things to do with trail access to the beautiful Currambene Creek and Jervis Bay being a 15-minute bike ride away. Of course, you might also find the time passes while relaxing with a book, or glass or wine, on your private deck.
