The iconic fashion house brings the runway to our kitchens.
We love Smeg for going the extra mile in the style stakes. The addition of an FAB fridge takes a drab kitchen to well, you know, FAB.
Thierry Noir took things next level when he had time on his hands in Sydney earlier this year and now the kitchenware powerhouse and come together with fashion royalty Dolce & Gabbana to create ‘Sicily is my Love’.
Made in Italy, the range is a true reflection of both Smeg and the inimitable D&G style and includes 2 toaster designs, a coffee machine (naturally), blender, kettle, juicer, stand mixer and food processor. All appliances are adorned with vibrant, luscious artwork “reflective of Sicilian folklore”, that beautifully follow their curvaceous forms.
Try not to press your nose up against the screen whilst you browse the range…
Coloured cookware shouldn’t be such a stretch of the imagination in our kitchens and Smeg is our first stop when looking to make a strong style statement. It’s not the first collaboration between the two either – Smeg commissioned artists to cover their fridges in limited edition designs inspired by Dolce & Gabbana’s SS16 collection, with stunning results.
Due for release in Australia later this year, pricing has not yet been released – watch this space!
