When it comes to your homewares, it pays to think outside the box.
Just because society tells you a bed sheet should go on the bed, it doesn’t mean that is its only use.
Here’s a list of everyday items that can be used in new and different ways.
Bed sheet
Before rushing out to buy an expensive tablecloth, head to the linen closet and see if there’s a nice white sheet you can work with instead. Sheets can also be reworked into napkins.

On the other hand, many tablecloths make great curtains.
Tea towel
Do you have a fancy t-towel that is a little too nice to be used washing dishes? Put it in a frame and you’ve got yourself a new wall hanging.
Rug
Bed heads can be expensive. Instead, hang a nice rug on the wall to create a new look for your bed.
Glassware
Mugs, glasses, carafes, whatever you’ve got in your cupboard can double as a vase for a simple flower arrangement.
