The exterior’s classic scheme – Dulux Domino on the walls and Dulux Vivid White on the door and window frames – provides an elegant welcome to visitors, and allows the ‘Black Caviar’ and ‘David Austin’s Sophy’s Rose’ roses to pop. The potted plants on the steps are Cineraria ‘Silver Dust’.

A series of Impressions on Indigo giclee prints by Vision Studio, found at Warranbrooke, enhances the warm, welcoming vibe.

In the living room, a ‘Plaza’ couch from King Living and Globe West coffee table rest on a ‘Middle Atlas’ Moroccan rug from Halcyon Lake, while Freedom’s ‘Aberdeen’ curtains add a warm touch at the windows.

A beautiful painting titled Rainy Day Paris (artist unknown) is the undisputed hero of the study area. A ‘Wishbone’-style chair from MRD Home and a sleek ‘Hudson’ timber desk from Globe West are stylish and functional, as is the ‘Tile’ wool kilim rug from West Elm.

The delicate ‘Branches Black & White Trees’ wallpaper from Wallpaper Brokers provided the inspiration for this room’s overall decor and palette. Dulux Tiamo on the feature wall creates a soft and soothing backdrop in the guest room and is complemented by a romantic mix of pastel-hued bedlinen from Cultiver and Bedouin Societe at Fenton & Fenton and a ‘Hydrangeas’ linen cushion, also from Fenton & Fenton. ‘Vintage’ oak bedside tables from Sounds Like Home, a brass ‘I Love Desk Lamp’ from Fenton & Fenton and a Norsu Interiors silver-grey sheepskin rug create subtle impact.
