Home Beautiful spent an afternoon with Jardan creative directors Nick and Renee Garnham at the Melbourne showroom, where they shared their favourite places to eat and shop.
As seen in the latest issue of Home Beautiful magazine, we took an exclusive look behind the scenes of the furniture design powerhouse, and here, HB’s editor-in-chief and House Rules judge Wendy Moore shares her favourite pieces from the day.
“I love that Jardan is a true Australian Design success story,” says Wendy. “They have stayed true to their ethos and grown to be a strong established brand.”
1&2. Arte Terrazzo coffee table and Dari rug
Paired here with the Haven vessel and Dari rug in Burgundy, the Arte Terrazzo coffee table is a feast of texture. “The return of terrazzo is something I love,” says Wendy. “The coppery tones in this piece are perfectly on trend. I do love seeing brighter colours come through too.”
3&4. The Stanford dining chairs and Arte table
The grouping of the Stanford dining chairs and Arte table is another favourite of Wendy’s, who says, “Dining chairs that invite you to sit down, then literally hug you when you sit – this is key to a relaxing long meal with friends,” says HB’s Editor in Chief.
5. Iluka sideboard
“I love a beautiful console!” enthuses Wendy. “The curved legs and woven insets of the Iluka sideboard add such a sense of warmth to this timeless piece.”
