Study Nook
Kate and Harry commented on how perfect the styling was in this zone, but disagreed over the light with Kate saying it was too random.
Entry
They were delighted with the look of the hallway with Kate saying “It was the best entry that I’ve ever seen,” Harry, however, wasn’t sold on the pink front door (not pictured here). Both were divided over the ceiling feature but loved the rug on the wall and floor runner.
Kitchen
Excited to start cooking, they felt the kitchen was spot on and hit the house rules of black and white and no faux. The timber breakfast bar was labelled sensational.
Ensuite
Kate and Harry felt this was the best room in the whole house. “It deserves a round of applause,” said Harry.
Bedroom
While judges found faults with the open cabinetry and lack of texture on the bedhead, homeowners loved both, especially the extended bedhead and felt it was sensational.
Living room
Not a favourite for them as they felt not much was happening and was all over the shop. Kate and Harry were also thrown by the wall (left side) as they wanted an open-plan home.
Playroom
Kate and Harry chose not to award the five bonus points even though Kate pointed out that Xavier will spend hours in there but, big kid Harry felt forgotten about and therefore it didn’t meet the rule of a ‘Playroom for all ages’.
