The influential power couple have plans of creating a new home for their young family.
With a brood of four children and busy lives in the public eye, the stylish couple have hinted that they are set to embark on another renovation soon.
“The Judds are happy and they can move forward,” listing agent Andrew Campbell of Marshall White Real Estate told Domain, and model and TV presenter Bec has posted a wistful image of her home on her Instagram feed, saying she and her ex-footballer husband, “…will miss this place soooooooooooo much but I can’t wait to share what we are doing next…”
The sale price for the luxurious home has not been revealed but Domain has estimated it to be between $4.7 million and $5.17 million, following offers made after its failure to sell at auction this week.
Tucked into a highly desirable location near Brighton Beach, the five-bedroom, four bathroom home is a sprawling architecturally-designed contemporary dwelling of impressive proportions, featuring high end finishes in every room.
The entire home lends itself to entertaining on a grand scale, with a galley-style kitchen furnished with top-of-the-range appliances, a sweeping waterfall island and matching benchtops in calacatta marble. Above hangs a trio of perforated metallic pendant lighting that provide warmth to the space and offset the cool stone, tying in the sleek timber cabinetry, which hides a deluxe butler’s pantry.
The living room boasts a double-height travertine feature wall, built-in floating upholstered daybed and a pair of impressive circular vertical wall gardens.
Enormous sliding glass doors lead outside to a heated pool and spa, with a nearby pavilion featured in the carefully manicured, private landscaped gardens.
Not least attractive to buyers would have been the state-of-the-art basement man cave – that surely must have seen its share of entertaining – kitted out with a cocktail bar and no less than four wine fridges. Adjacent is a gym with a pool-viewing window and the home’s sunken garage. The lower level also houses a guest/au pair suite, playroom and home office.
Upstairs is a parents’ retreat with two walk-in wardrobes and a stunning contemporary bathroom containing a statement freestanding bathtub, and twin basins mounted under a marble benchtops. Elegant drapery draws across large expanses of windows that flood the space with natural light by day.
The home is beautifully decorated in Bec’s signature style, as seen on her own Rebecca Judd loves web series, styled by our own H2HB stylist Aimee Taruli.
