My, my, my! In another incredible partnership for Mecca (Glossier just hit stores earlier this month), Troye Sivan’s lifestyle brand Tsu Lange Yor is now stocked by the retailer. It’s just shy of a year since his collection of home and personal fragrances launched, so to now be in Mecca is quite extraordinary, but unsurprising given the singer/songwriter and actor’s global popularity.
The launch of Tsu Lange Yor (TLY as Troye calls it) into Mecca was announced by Troye in a video on his TikTok and Mecca’s Instagram. In it, he’s seen popping into Mecca headquarters, offering tea, folding boxes and asking for the wi-fi password, much to the surprise of Mecca employees.
The South African-born and Aussie-raised star has come a long way since his early days posting YouTube videos from his Perth family home. Now, he’s set to go on tour with Charli XCX and his hit ‘Rush’ is nominated for two 2024 Grammys.
The Tsu Lange Yor range, which Troye co-founded alongside his brother Steele, includes candles with scents such as Sassafras which pay tribute to the natural beauty of the Dandenong Ranges, where the singer’s parents live. There’s an oil burner that comes in brass or aluminium and can be teamed with scents such as Pool, which is a nod to endless summers spent at Fitzroy Pool.
There are also bowls, which are made from hand-cast recycled brass alloy and don’t have a base, so are strictly for decorating purposes.
This isn’t Troye’s first foray into the world of interiors. Back in 2021, his Melbourne home which he worked on with Flack Studios, was covered by Architectural Digest, and the accompanying video tour has since had more than nine million views.
Troye clearly has a great eye for design, and now it’s easier to get a piece of it. Check out the Tsu Lange Yor range in Mecca now.
