Imagine if Disney characters had their very own tiny homes? What would a tiny house look like for Woody, Elsa, Belle, or even Jack Skellington? Thanks to a collaboration between the teams at Angie’s List and NeoMam Studios, we can get a glimpse into what would happen if some of our favourite Disney characters embraced the minimalist lifestyle and joined the tiny house movement.

Partly inspired by Lester Walker’s 1987 book “Tiny Houses,” this blossoming culture of homes no bigger than 300 square feet is aimed at saving money and reducing waste. Not exactly priorities in the worlds our Disney heroes inhabit, but hey, it’s 2020 and even real-life royalty are downsizing their palaces in search of simpler lives.

The team re-watched their favorite Disney movies to get the most nuanced, accurate hints of what the Disney characters’ home style choices would be in terms of both architecture and interior design.

1. Elsa’s Tiny Home (Frozen)

Princess Elsa’s home is a gorgeous A-frame cabin nestled in snowy woods. In contrast, the interior is light, spacious and decorated in pastel hues of blue and purple, and comes complete with a stunning bookshelf.

Woody’s home is a modern cabin at the foothills of a mountain. The interior is rustic with a touch of luxury and features a chandelier made from antlers. The perfect home for any cowboy (or cowgirl).

4. Belle’s Tiny Home (Beauty and the Beast)

It’s a humble abode with a rustic exterior, however the interior of Belle’s tiny home is fit for a princess with floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant fittings and plenty of books as well as a decent-sized kitchen.

5. Merida (Brave)

Just like Elsa, Merida has a rustic A-frame cabin for her tiny home, however that’s where the similarities end. The interior is minimalist and heavy on wood, perfect for the no-muss, no-fuss, fearless archer.
