“With the Hjärtelig collection, we wanted to help more people embrace those moments where they can focus, relax and revitalise. In designing this collection, we hope to encourage people to press the ‘pause’ button, if only for a little while, in a life that’s often hectic, complicated and connected,” Ikea designer Andreas Fredriksson said.

One of the hero pieces of the collection is a bench with clothes rack, which allows you to hang your clothes while sitting down and taking off your shoes. It’s all about slowing down and easy living.

Modular pieces of furniture mean greater flexibility in the home, where platforms can be used as tables, beds or seats. There are also smaller storage items including amber-hued jewellery cones.

New pieces include Ikea’s first line of yoga accessories, including a mat, straps, blocks and a bag.
The new collection is launching in Australia in April… namaste.
