It’s all about stretching the budget at this time of year. Gifts, decorations, entertaining and travel all need to be factored into the mix. Never one to disappoint in the affordability stakes, Aldi’s coming special buys just went to the top of the list for bargain booze for your Christmas bucks.
Over the next two weeks Aldi plans to roll out a series of Special Buys on alcohol, including something we’ve come to expect on festive occasions – a deliciously low-priced magnum. This time it will be bringing three wine varieties in 1.5 litre form – Rose, Prosecco and a Merlot & Malbec blend.
For the spirit lovers there will also be a rosé gin pack and 21 year old Glen Marnock whisky added to the mix and to top is all off is a range of UK specialty beers – some already with a cult following, such as the Monty Python “Flying Circus” and “Holy Grail”. There seems something on offer to satisfy everyone’s favourite tipple.
