Bold and beautiful, the Kip & Co gals have done it again with a vivid range of bedding, accessories and lifestyle products for kids and adults for the 2019 summer season.
Stripes and tassels, linen and velvet, the range is hot, hot, hot! Every colour of the rainbow combines in an eclectic mix-and-match of beautifully sophisticated use of colour and texture.
With everything from a ‘peach punch’ apron brimming with fruity goodness to a pastel riot of cutlery, Kate, Hayley and Alex invite us to embrace life, be bold and take a leap into colour this summer we had a chat to find out how to use their fun and fabulous wares in our home and ask what they’re excited about for the summer to come.
What are you buying at the moment in stores?
Kate– “Coffee mugs as I recently purchased a new coffee machine and trying to spend on good quality items that will last and that I really love these days.”
Hayley– “I am currently giving my house a little freshen up with some new stools and a couch.”
Alex– “I love my record player so I am on the hunt for new records and I recently had my first bubba Quincy which means fun times scouting for cute itty girl pieces.”
What are the go-to essentials for styling a bedroom?
Find a happy balance between texture, print and plain. I am loving our plain linens matched back with a little bit of printed sheeting and then throw on a few velvet or durie cushions at the end.
What’s your advice to those who have never used colour in the bedroom before?
Why not!? Adding colour and print can transform a space effortlessly.
What is the secret to layering pattern?
Don’t over think it. If it doesn’t come naturally to you then look for images of what you like first and then try and replicate this. Choose pieces you really love and try throwing them together.
