Sue Wheeler

In 2000, when editor and writer Sue pressed pause on London life and came to Sydney to relaunch New Woman magazine, she envisaged a six-month stint in the sun. Endless summers and many career moves later, she still calls Australia home. With a degree in English Literature and Art History and a background in women’s lifestyle publishing, Sue has worked across a variety of brands and platforms. For eight years she was editor-in-chief of Women’s Health (the first edition outside America) and later edited Homes+, a job that confirmed ‘homes’ was where her heart is. These days, she considers herself lucky to focus on her passions  - travel and home interiors - and contributes to brands such as Home Beautiful, Australian House & Garden and Better Homes and Gardens. She loves patterns and prints, anything sage green, The Lost and Found Department in Hunters Hill and has a weakness for buying unique pieces on her travels, which invariably leads to overweight luggage. Sue also restores old furniture and recently went to her first embroidery workshop.
