Grab a scarf and a floral swim cap and dive into the latest collection of art prints of iconic photographs from the Amalfi Coast and Cote D’ Azur.
Melbourne-based photographer Stuart Cantor, best known for his landscape and lifestyle photography has produced the exclusive collection in collaboration with Tigmi Trading and the results are a flamingo pink, sun-filtered Mediterranean dream – depicting a far-away world straight off the set of To Catch a Thief.
“The range we selected is a combination of France and Italy,” says Cantor. “It’s that old world feeling. You look at the photos and are hopefully transported to another space.”
Indeed. The works evoke a heady mixture of old Hollywood glamour and quintessential Mediterranean holiday and would sing on the walls of a mid-century interior – the overall aesthetic brings a welcome air of understated luxury.
“I have always been drawn to Stuart’s wonderful ability to capture the feeling of ‘escape’ in a timeless manner,” said Danielle McEwan, founder and owner of Tigmi Trading.
“At Tigmi, we are always inspired by escape, and in particular the classic tones of the Mediterranean. Our aesthetic is one of simple sophistication and the timeless beauty of aged vintage pieces paired with the elegance of modern design. “
“We are thrilled to present this new collection of work from Stuart amongst our collection of unique and one of a kind pieces that all have the ability to transport us to far flung places”.
