A French designer has produced a line of fully functioning, transparent bubbles that act as a compromise between the luxuries of a hotel and the beauty of camping.
Popping up all over Europe, each eco-friendly pod is conveniently secluded and comes with a king-sized bed, nightstands, reading lamps, and a set of table and chairs and a telescope for stargazing.
You can watch the sunrise and set all from the comfort of your bed, and away from mosquitoes. Guests need not worry about privacy either as each bubble is set in its own secluded clearing, up a private path and (usually) surrounded by trees.
More importantly though, staying in a bubble will cost about as much as any other hotel room. Prices start at $160 AUD and range up to $280 AUD depending on location, season and amenities you choose for your visit.
