It was the kind of romantic and creative partnership that inspired design-lovers far and wide — interior stylist Steve Cordony and landscaper Mike Booth bringing the historic Rosedale Farm, near Orange in New South Wales, back to life in breathtaking fashion. But now, just months after confirming the end of their 15-year relationship — first reported by The Daily Telegraph on January 19, 2025 — the pair has announced another bittersweet chapter: the sale of the property that became their shared masterpiece.

“It is with the heaviest heart but an immense sense of pride and accomplishment that we have decided to move on from Rosedale Farm after eight magical years,” they shared in a joint statement on March 20. “This property is more than just a home, it’s a fairytale that has provided so much joy for us, our family and friends, and everyone we were lucky enough to have visit.”

Their story has been woven into every corner of Rosedale Farm, where they wed in an intimate-yet-lavish ceremony that graced the pages of Vogue. Purchased in 2017, the circa-1877 homestead became the backdrop to a grand creative vision, shared step-by-step with followers on social media.
“It was beautiful when we arrived and beautiful now. We just added our stamp to a lovely historic farm.”

“What started out as a six-month renovation with a repaint, new kitchen and bathroom, ended with a monumental seven-year transformation where every single aspect of the house and garden was made over,” they wrote.

And what a transformation it was. The stately Georgian-style home now stands as a picture of refined elegance, with Steve’s signature blend of sophistication and warmth filling every room. Outside, Mike’s green thumb is on full display — from a sprawling one-acre vegetable garden to a lush 10-acre house garden, layered with texture and romance.

Beyond the manicured lawns, the estate offers an array of enviable features: a pool house, orangery, olive grove, stone fruit orchard, greenhouse, and even a charming “menagerie” of animals (peacocks included!). Visitors are welcomed by a striking 600-metre tree-lined driveway — an invitation into a world that feels like a living fairytale.

Now, as the property is officially listed with McGrath Estate Agents, there’s a palpable sense of a chapter closing. But in true Cordony-Booth style, it closes with grace, beauty, and a legacy that will no doubt inspire for years to come.
