If you love gorgeous homewares but hate the expensive price tag that often comes with designer furniture, soft furnishings and accessories, then you absolutely need to get into your nearest Spotlight store as soon as possible.
The affordable craft and homewares retailer has partnered with Australian artist and designer Jocelyn Proust to produce a home furnishings collection including quilting fabrics, furnishing fabrics, ready to hang curtains, bed linen and cushions.
Jocelyn Proust is based on the north coast of New South Wales and specialises in creating patterns for decorating all sorts of surfaces such as walls, paper, canvas, fabrics and ceramics with her art, but also works as a graphic designer.
Jocelyn created the collection for Spotlight by hand, designing patterns with pen, watercolour and cut paper, then transformed her hand-drawn pieces into digital prints and patterns.
The prints and patterns created for Spotlight are inspired by the Australian flora and fauna that surrounds Jocelyn’s home in New South Wales, so you can expect gorgeous Australiana with none of the kitsch.
The full range will drop in Spotlight stores on January 16, 2019. Check out some of the gorgeous goodies below.
