Music royalty Beyonce and Jay-Z have reportedly splashed out on a AUD$32-million pile in the Hamptons – and we’re pretty sure they won’t be heading to Ikea to kit out their new abode any time soon.
Located in the prestigious beachside community of East Hampton, New York, the estate measures 12,000 square feet and boasts seven bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms.
According to Trulia, the 100-year-old building was designed by renowned architect Stanford White, and it’s been immaculately renovated with painstaking attention to detail while boasting state-of-the-art technology.
The bathrooms, for instance, are sculpted with Italian marble, while the patina-matched baths, counters and tiles were carved from single blocks of stone.
And there will be no abundance of volunteers for free babysitting, with a detached 1,800 square foot guest cottage included on the estate. Just enough room for Aunty Solange.
