Building a house from scratch affords a real sense of freedom when it comes to bathroom design. For the owners, it was imperative the master ensuite in their home on the New South Wales South Coast was comfortable and contemporary, as well as budget friendly.
For timeless appeal, a neutral colour scheme was chosen, with grey ceramic floor tiles and a Carrara marble wall insert above the vanity lending depth and texture to simple white wall tiles. The other big priority was the bath.
The deep Victoria & Albert ‘Deauville’ bath that sits atop sturdy oak block feet was chosen to create something a little different. For the rest of the room, simple and affordable designs were sourced, including a wall-hung vanity from a local supplier, a mirrored cabinet from The Renovation Boys and timber bath accessories from Target.
