With a fabulous Art Deco-lobby and matching “Mark Pedicabs” car service, The Mark just might be the most lavish 5-star hotel in Manhattan.

In February, the Duchess of Sussex held her baby shower in its Grand Penthouse Suite, which at $77,000 a night is the most expensive in the city.

At over 900 square meters, it is the largest hotel penthouse suite in the USA.

The Mark describes the suite as “a majestic residence representing the pinnacle of modern luxury,” so it’s no surprise that it was Meghan’s choice location for her baby shower.

Designed by legendary French interior designer Jacques Grange, the enormous penthouse spans over the top two floors of The Mark Hotel and includes 5 bedrooms, 4 fireplaces, 6 bathrooms, 2 powder rooms, and 2 wet bars.

The living room can be transformed into a full-sized grand ballroom, reaching 8-meter high ceilings.

The Mark Penthouse also features a fireplace and adjacent wet bar and is decorated with custom furniture designed by Jacques Grange, making each piece unique to the hotel.
