Smeg continues to celebrate turning 70 and we’re getting all the gifts.
It’s hard to believe the FAB fridge was conceived 21 years ago – it has featured in our kitchens for some time now and Smeg continue to delight us with new iterations of colour, collaboration and design for the model.
An entire range of rainbow-coloured benchtop appliances have come on the market as the prodigious Italian appliance company shares the anniversary love.
Now comes the FAB50, family sized model to answer the dreams of those who have coveted the iconic cool box forever but have been thwarted by the limitations of its size. With a gross capacity of 467L, the FAB50 is a two-door frost-free refrigerator/freezer and has two chiller compartments, adjustable quick-chill crystal glass shelves and two fruit/vegetable compartments.
Standing 1872mm high and 796mm wide, the fridge has a 3 star energy rating, freezer with a manual icemaker and a fast-freeze compartment.
Retailing at $3990, it is available nationally from selected electrical retailers, specialist appliance stores and department stores.
